SATPID Participating Hotel Properties:

We are very pleased to announce the Fiscal Year 2021 SATPID Individual Hotel Incentive Program that enables only district member hotels to provide incentives for self-contained groups or meetings that could attract and/or retain overnight visitors to San Antonio. Since the inauguration of the program May 1, 2019, $926K has been committed and/or awarded via reimbursements to TPID Hotels to further our objectives. This program has been extended and funded for FY2021, so we encourage you to review the program and application requirements. This continues to be an excellent opportunity and program designed to enhance San Antonio’s performance as a convention and tourism destination, while shifting share for our destination.

Background on San Antonio Tourism Public Improvement District:

  • Modeled after similar successful initiatives across the country.
  • Funded by hotels with 100+ rooms through a 1.25% assessments.
  • The District is managed by an 11-member Board of Directors made up of participating hoteliers.
  • The program is for district member hotels to provide incentives for self-contained groups or meetings that could attract and/or retain overnight visitors to San Antonio.
