Dear TPID Participants,
It has been a privilege to serve you throughout this fiscal year. On behalf of the TPID Board of Directors, I extend our heartfelt gratitude for entrusting us to lead and advocate for initiatives that positively impact San Antonio hotels and the broader tourism and hospitality sector.
This year has been marked by remarkable progress from the Visit San Antonio team, whose dedication to fostering business growth has been instrumental to our collective success. Highlights of their accomplishments, such as the inaugural Sales Roadshow and The Many Cools of Summer marketing campaign, were celebrated during the 2024 Visit San Antonio Annual Meeting. Additionally, the unveiling of Visit San Antonio’s five-year strategic plan demonstrated a bold vision for the future. I want to express my deepest appreciation to Marc Anderson and the entire Visit San Antonio team for their unwavering commitment to our thriving industry. Thanks to their efforts, we anticipate an even more impactful 2025.
As we approach the holiday season and prepare to welcome a new year, the outlook for San Antonio’s tourism and hospitality industry is exceptionally promising. The return of the Men’s Final Four and the debut of InCyber Forum USA are milestones that reflect our city’s growing prominence on both national and international stages. These events and others, alongside the continued growth of our hotel portfolio, enhance our city’s appeal, attracting more visitors and meetings.
Looking ahead, 2025 offers opportunities for our industry to excel to greater heights. Let us embrace the new year ahead with renewed energy and a shared commitment to building on the momentum we’ve achieved.
I wish you a joyous holiday season and a prosperous New Year filled with growth and success.
Warm regards,
Maria Martinez
Chair, TPID Board of Directors
